Perspectives on religion – why does Faith work as a way of knowing? How does faith work? Faith does not require evidence or rationality or falsification (as in Science)…
Justification by faith can be understood in various ways:
- faith understood as trust; as in trusting a person
- faith as a commitment, as in making a promise and keeping it
- faith as acceptance, such as a set of assumptions (axioms?) that you accept as true
- faith as a subjective belief in something.
